Mrs. Deedie P. Irby, 98, formerly of Orrville, AL died Monday, November 10, 2008 in Detroit, MI.
She accepted Christ at an early age and she became a member of Providence Baptist Church in Orrville, AL under Rev. Flowers.
Services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Providence Baptist Church in Orrville, AL with Rev. Gregory C. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, November 15, 2008 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the church. Survivors include one son, Sam Irby, Brooklyn, NY; four daughters, Nellie Tensley, Inkster, MI, Mary Irby, Indianapolis, IN, Alma Irby, Montgomery, AL, and Lena Irby, Selma, AL; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.
