Mary Clayton Fancher received the ultimate healing on October 26, 2008. When she first entered this world on August 18, 2008 it was clear that her life would impact many others. The outstanding care given by the physicians, nurses and NICU staff at both Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Birmingham enabled us to have precious moments with her that will remain forever in our hearts. She was also blessed to know the love and prayers not only of our family but an entire community.
Mary Clayton’s life is celebrated by her parents, Robert and Stephanie Fancher; big sister, Sarah Cameron Fancher; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Melinda Fancher; maternal grandparents, Steve and Beverly Spivey and great-grandmothers, Naomi Vines, Alma Farmer and Betty Chandler, as well as uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Sister Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Bayne officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation, 7800 S. Elati St., #111, Littleton, OH, 80120 or through their website, nowilaymedowntosleep.org or to Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, P. O.
