Beverly Irvin Stokes, 58, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, departed this life on October 22, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rosie Irvin.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Lester J. Stokes Jr.; five sisters, Bernice Moore (Eddie), Debra Coleman (Myron), Jettie Eatmon (George), Ida Tarrant and Naomi Rojas (Felix); four brothers, Frank (Mae), Henry (Pearl), Benjamin (Dorothy), and Willie (Shirelle) Irvin; one sister-in-law, Sandra Stokes; three brothers-in-law, Rudolph (Gertrude), James (Belinda) and Alton Jr. Stokes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnam Ave., where viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 28 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2008 in the March Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
