Donald Jefferson Irby, 46 of Selma died on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Services will be held at 12 PM Saturday, October 18, 2008 at West Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. A. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Garden Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosie Lee Hackett and stepfather, Mack Dee McMillian.
Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Diann (Dorothy). A loving mother, Bernice McMillian, two daughters Kami Morris (Eric) and Marshey Pritchett, one granddaughter, Kelis Morris. Four brothers, E.P Irby, Alfred Irby, Ken Irby, and Curtis Irby (Annette). An adopted brother, Dr Donald Jefferson (Brenda) four sisters, Rose Irby-Wilkins, Darlene Rudolph (Greg), Renee McMillion-Clark (Wendell), and Chinika Thrash (Howard), one great uncle, A.C. Barnes, two uncles Willie Hackett Sr, and Alphonso Hackett, a mother-in-law, Luvenia Davis, two sister-in-laws, Lachune Simpson (Rickey), and Michelle Walker, four brother-in-laws, Rayfield Davis Jr. (Mary), Tommy Davis (Deborah), Brent Davis (Lillian), and Charles Davis (Joyce), three special friends, David Leak, Council McReynold and Joseph Strowder.
