Mae Bell Pressley, 92, of 1121 Union St. died Friday, September 12, 2008 at Warren Manor Nursing Home.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, September 20 at Mount Zion Primative Baptist Church with Elder Bryan Starks officiating. Burial will follow in Sandridge Baptist Church on Kingsbend Road under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home. Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rayford; daughter, Susie Walker; and four brothers, Mr. George Rayford, Mr. David Rayford, Mr. Richard Rayford, and Mr. Mose Rayford. Survivors include son, Richard Smiley, and daughter, Estella Smith.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Smith, Eric Banks, Quinton Gruthridge, Howard Smith Jr., Willie James Smiley, and Curtis Bradshaw. Other relatives include eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
