On Monday August 18th, exactly 82 years and three days after she graced this earth, Pearlie Webb returned to her heavenly father. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Singleton, her father, Authur Singleton, sister, Dessie Mae Payne; brothers, Roy (Mary) Singleton, and Joseph Thomas Singleton.
She is survived in death by her husband, Jimmy Webb; daughter, Linda Singleton Fields; granddaughter, Carmen Johnson; great-granddaughters, Claudia Ross, Jessie Fields and Hannah Fields; sisters, Rosalie Cowan and Carolyn (Sam) Sanderson; brothers-in-law, George (Marie) Webb and Benny (Carolyn) Stone; several nieces, nephews, cousins; great nieces, nephews and cousins and other family with whom she had great love and affection.
Other survivors include close personal friends, David Mundell, Shanna Johnson, Shirley Crowe, Diane Stabler, Mary and Tommy Witcher, Cliff and Janice Davis, Cathy (Fred) Stinson and Lee Smith, whom she had a great personal love for.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Pierce officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Singleton, Ray Singleton, John Davis, Cliff Davis, David Mundell, and Erik Privett.
