Iva Waurine Wallace, age 80, a resident of Wetumpka, AL and formerly of Selma, AL, passed away July 24, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Wallace.
Surviving are her mother, Gladys F. Griffin; daughter, Alice Elizabeth “Libby” (Greg) Britton; brothers, Jim (Gladys) Griffin and Alfred (Linda) Griffin; sisters, Martha (Bill) Anderson, Margaret (Bucky) Buchanan and Keeble (Jim) Brantley; grandchildren, Elizabeth Britton, Benjamin “Benny” Britton and Samuel “Sammy” Britton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, July 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Davis officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Brian Griffin, Gary Griffin, Sammy Britton, Wayne Griffin, Mitch Keener and Benny Britton. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Norfolk Southern Railroad.
