That didn&8217;t apply to unwelcome guests that broke into the convenience store at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Mike Patel, the owner for two weeks, said surveillance cameras captured the initial part of the burglary.

The four suspects wore masks, he said.

The burglars cut the phone and security lines once they entered the store. That disabled the alarm system and also the initial call to the alarm company.

The robbers also disabled cameras inside the store.

The thieves made off with $5,600 cash, six Timex watches amounting to $300, $700 worth of tobacco products and a safe with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbers damaged the back door at a cost of $600.

The store was closed at the time. Patel did not know of the burglary until about 4 a.m.

The robbers face a charge of burglary first-degree felony.

If convicted, they could serve 10 years to life.

Patel is hopeful someone will come forward and give information.
