Daniel Ray Moran, 53, of Jones passed away Sunday July 6, 2008 in a hospital in Shelby County.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. July 9, 2008 at New Live Oak Cemetery officiated by Rev Donald Lynn.
Danny was born May 8, 1955 and was raised in Selma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Pauline Kelly and Cecil Lee Moran.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sullivan Moran of Jones, one daughter, Reba Danelle
and two grandchildren, Amnisty and Michael, both of Mobile.
Danny had two brothers, John C Moran of Defuniak Springs, FL and Harold E Moran of Vine Hill. He also had numerous nieces and nephews, Brigett Strayer of Michigan, and Sarah Moran of Vine Hill, Samuel Moran of Michigan, John Moran, Jr. of Destin, FL and Jannifer Bromley of Huntsville, sisters-in-law, Belinda Moran and Jane Moran.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Heart and Lung Association of Alabama.
