Ruth Virginia Warr, 96, of Selma died July 6, 2008, at a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Monday evening.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura P. Wallace Allen (Andy) of Selma and Betty Richerson of Montgomery; daughter-in-law, Betty Warr; grandchildren, Pat Labbe, Vickie Booker, Diane Bond, Debbie Monk, Janet Roberts, and Jerry Richerson; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Park Place Nursing Home or your favorite charity.

Mrs. Warr was preceded in death by her son, Charlie R. Warr; son-in-law, Jimmie L. Wallace; infant grandson, Jimmie L. Wallace, Jr.
