Patsy Patterson Sumrall

Patsy Patterson Sumrall passed away June 28, 2008 in Nacogdoches.

Patsy Patterson Sumrall was born June 20, 1936, to S.J. &8220;Pat&8221; Patterson and Lucille White Patterson in Lake City, Mississippi.

Mrs. Sumrall moved with her husband, Jack Sumrall, to Nacogdoches from Thomaston, Alabama, to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She served on the Pineywoods

RC&D and briefly on the Board for Adult Protective Services.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

While living in Thomaston she served as the Mayor for four terms, served on the Alabama State Bar Disciplinary Board and Alabama

RC&D.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Sumrall; son, Jack and wife Lea Sumrall and children of Wichita, Kansas; daughters, Becky and husband David Neuenschwander and children of Geneva, Illinois, and Sheila and husband Mitchell Crocker and children of Nacogdoches; brothers, Jimmy, James, Troy and Floyd Patterson; sisters, Juanita, Vonnie, Mildred, Beverly and Rachel.

Mrs. Sumrall is preceded in death by her parents, son Bradley Sumrall and brothers; S.J. Patterson, Patrick Patterson.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Victory Sunday School Class or the children&8217;s program, 429 Happy Land Road, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965.
