As large flying beetles swarmed in the humid night, Melvin Buster, 32, laid pinned under his Suzuki motorcycle.

Buster and three still unidentified drivers led Alabama State troopers on a two-county chase.

The chase started in Lowndesboro and ended more than 25 miles later on Dallas County Road 465, just past Southside High School.

Two miles before the chase ended, Buster tried to evade officers by driving down the opposite side of U.S. Highway 80.

One Lowndes County deputy switched lanes to warn oncoming motorists.

Even amid dodging oncoming traffic, Buster didn&8217;t stop until he lost control of his motorcycle on a dirt road.

He skidded to a stop into brush by the roadside and remained trapped under the vehicle.

Officers assisted him and then arrested him.

Buster faces charges of driving down the wrong side of the road, operating a vehicle without insurance, reckless driving, reckless

endangerment and eluding police.

Davidson sends a warning to any motorcyclist that tries to escape officers.
