James Lee &8220;Doc&8221; McMillian, 52, of Dallas County died June 7, 2008 at 417 St. Ann Street. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 1:00pm at Miller Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Greg Williams. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include parents, Mrs.

Betty Jackson and Henry Jackson; two sons, Alphonso Woods and Teddrick Carter; one daughter, Tonya Carter; two brothers, Ronnie McMillian and Maril (Wynita) Jackson; two sisters, Patricia George and Neechele Thompson Furlow; seven grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, seven nieces, three nephews, a host of cousins and other relatives.

Pallbearers will include friends of the family.

Nelson Leroy Fancher

Nelson Leroy Fancher, age 29, of Plantersville, died Saturday June 7, 2008 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Abby Fancher. Survivors include his wife, Valerie Fancher, children, Allie, Alec, Austin and Andee Fancher, parents, Craig (Shani) Fancher and Phyllis Fancher, brothers, Curtis Fancher, Timothy Fancher, step brothers, Billy Lace, Asa Lace, Tommy Lace, Chris Lace. Services will be held Thursday June 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM at 45 5th Avenue in Plantersville with Reverend David Blakney officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Plantersville Christian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 45 5th Avenue, Plantersville.

Rita Harrison

Rita Harrison, age 51 a resident of Selma, AL, passed away June 7, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Skeen; father-in-law, Charles Travis Harrison and mother-in-law, Mary Harrison.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Harrison; mother, Shelia Skeen; son, Eric Ryan Harrison; and her beloved pets, Charlie and Winston.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating.

Interment will be in New Live Oak with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Monday, June 9, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.
