Infant Jaydon G. Johnson

Infant Jaydon G. Johnson, of Selma died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Baptist East Medical Center.

Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Home.

Millie Alice (Dozier) Young

Millie was born on April 2, 1942, in Selma, Alabama, to the union of the late Mr. & Mrs. James E. Dozier.

She was the second of four daughters and the 8th of 12 children. Millie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma where she was an active member and participant of numerous organizations.

On Saturday, May 17, 2008, Millie departed this life at Methodist Hospital Northlake.

Millie leaves to cherish her loving memory: her husband, Tyrone; son, Tyrone (Jean) Young; daughter, Millicent (Robert) Latiker of Crown Point, IN; 4 brothers, James P. Dozier of Indianapolis, IN, Charles (Susie) Dozier of Chicago, IL, Samuel Dozier, Bruce O. (Kathy) Dozier, both of Selma, AL; 4 grandchildren, Darren and Davin Latiker and Lillian and Lucy Young; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Koinonia Baptist Church, 510 West 13th Ave. Rev. Levern Swain, Pastor. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park. Professional services rendered by: Guy & Allen Funeral Directors, Inc.

William Wayne Taylor

William Wayne Taylor, age 59, a resident of Selma, AL, passed away May 29, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Taylor.

Surviving are his mother, Nickie Taylor; daughter, Nicholas Taylor (Brian) Seymore; brother, Gary Taylor and grandchildren, Mary Taylor Seymore, William Andrew Seymore and Magdalene Thomas Seymore.

A memorial service was held at Selma Funeral Home Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating.

Ralph Caldwell of Selma died Friday May 30, 2008 in Florence AL, from a sudden illness.

Graveside services will be held in New Live Oak Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 1, 2008.
