Mr. Jeff Shannon, 48 of Sardis, AL died May 21, 2008 at Baptist South Hospital. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Myrtle Irene Abbott Chandler

Myrtle Irene Abbott Chandler, a long-time resident of Selma, AL passed May 20, 2008 in Montgomery, AL at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Israel Chandler.

Irene was born in Chilton County, AL on October 26, 1916.

She and her husband were long time members of Dallas Avenue Baptist Church in Selma, AL. She also had many great friends at the First Presbyterian Senior Citizens Center in Selma.

Surviving Mrs. Chandler are four daughters, Myrtle Ozell Chandler Miller of Montgomery, AL, Geraldine Chandler (Lamar) Bice of Villa Rica, GA, Shelby Jean Chandler (Radford) Talley of Villa Rica, GA and Linda Ann Chandler (Jimmy) Rush of Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren, Brenda Gwin of TN, Gina Hawkins of GA, Gregory Bice of GA, Jennifer Gastley of Kansas City, KS, Lisa Stephenson of GA, and Fredrika Morrissette Miller of Montgomery, AL and nine great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her faithful companion of ten years, her dog, Tippy.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Smith officiating.

Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral directing.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, May 25, 2008 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his mother, Robin Kay Reichelderfer of Selma, father Terrance Allen Cozadd Jr. of Selma, brother Patrick Allen Cozadd of Owen Mills, MD, sister, Rachel Lynn Baggerly of Selma, nephew, Colton Garin Baggerly of Selma, Peyton Allen Cozadd of Owen Mills, MD, sister-in-law, Trudy Rutherford Cozadd of Owen Mills, MD, grandmothers, Kay Lynn Reichelderfer of Destin, FL and Louise Cozadd of Autaugaville, and grandfather, Terrance Allen Cozadd Sr.

Funeral Services with military honors were held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hopewell Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama.
