Donald Jones

Donald Jones, 36, of Marion, AL died on April 25, 2008 at Baptist South in Montgomery, AL. Services are scheduled for May 3, 2008 at 2:00pm at Marion Baptist Academy. Burial will follow at Gayles Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include spouse, Ola Jones; parents Johnny and Joann Jones; three sons, Kendrius Jones, Donnarious Jones, and Arkeith Gale; one daughter, Shakenna Jones; four brothers, Elbert Jones, Howard Jones, James Jones, and Johnny Jones; three sisters, Mary Allen, JoAnn Allen, Clancey Jones; three brothers-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; seven nieces; and five nephews. Pallbearers will include family and friends.

James Ghee

James Ghee, 54, of Selma, AL died April 29, 2008 at V.R.M.C. Services are scheduled for May 3, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home, Inc.

Survivors include mother Catherine Ghee; one daughter, Talaya Sibley, Lewisville, TX; one brother, Samuel L. Ghee, Atlanta, GA; four sisters, Essie Smith of Selma, AL, Pinkie L. (Bernard) Adams and Patricia A. (Arthur) Collier, both of Miami, FL, and Sarah (Antoine) Franklin of Monroe, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Janie Mae Jones

Janie Mae Jones, 63, of Marion, AL died April 26, 2008 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Services are scheduled for Sat. May 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Marion Baptist Academy officiated by Rev. Lonnie Williams.

Burial will follow in Cole Church Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include one son, Clarence (Sandra) Cole, Sr.; one brother, Prother Cole of Marion, AL; one sister, Linnie (Joe) Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN; three grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.

Pallbearers will include Anthony Jones, Sammy Woods, Anthony Ford, David Fuller, Thomas Madi-son, and Floyd Kennie.

Mr. Woodrow Williams

Mr.

Woodrow Williams, age 95 of Jefferson, Alabama passed April 26, 2008 in Demopolis, Alabama.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jefferson, Alabama.

Interment Scott Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama directing.

Mrs. Essie Lee Martin

Mrs. Essie Lee Martin, 82, of Sprott, died Sunday, April 27, 2008 in Bolligee.

Services are scheduled for 1p.m., Saturday May 3, 2008, at Old Oak Grove Church with the Rev. O.C. Dobynes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include one son, Tollson Martin; three daughters, Adell Martin, Jan Martin and Rose Coleman; four brothers, Jeremiah Huff, Cecil Huff, Fred Huff and Vester Lewis Huff; four sisters, Lois Melton, Glorious Gene Cleveland, Margaret Ann Smart and Phillipine Woods; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews

Paul F. Stewart

Paul F. Stewart, 67, of Marion, died Monday April 28, 2008, at Trinity Medical Center, Birmingham.

Services are scheduled for 1p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008 at Marion Baptist Academy, Marion with the Rev. Richard Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Lilliegrove cemetery under the direction of Lee & Rollins Funeral Home.

Walter J. Woods

Walter J. Woods, 48, of Jones, AL died May 1, 2008 at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service.

William Caldwell

Allen, Jr.

William Caldwell Allen, Jr., age 68, of Birmingham died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at his home.

Allen, a native of Demopolis was a resident of Birmingham.

He was a member of Bold Springs Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Caldwell Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Cowling Allen of Birmingham; two children, Tracy Plummer (Floyd) of Marion Junction and William Caldwell Allen, III (Leigh) of Northport; four grandchildren, Sam and Sara Catherine Plummer of Marion Junction; Jackson and Will Allen of Northport; other survivors include his mother, Roxie Reynolds of Linden; one sister, Anne Faulkner of Montgomery; four brothers, Gray Allen (Betty) of Demopolis, Jim Allen (Diane) of Jefferson, Warren Allen (Jodi) of Demopolis, and Weldon Allen of Birmingham.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson, Alabama with Rev. Gerald Stephens officiating and O&8217;Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden directing.
