Tracye Howe will, again, be making the journey to Washington, D.C. on May 11 as an advocate for the ALS Association/Alabama Chapter.

The Walk to d’Feet ALS will be held the second time in Tuscaloosa on the Quad on May 3.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m., and the Wallk will start at 11 a.m.

You may walk as long as you like or you may be a “virtual walker” and not actually walk at all. We just need your support.

Tracye’s team is “Andy’s Army” in memory of her husband, Andy Howe, who fought very hard, but lost his battle against ALS in December 2004.

There is no fee to join the Walk, however, all donations and contributions, no matter how large are small, will be accepted and greatly appreciated.

If you would like to join Tracye’s team and walk with us or if you would like to donate to the research of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), please contact the following: Tracye Howe, 1904 Highland Ave., Selma, AL 36701, telephone 875-1499 or Dorothye Jackson, 168 Co. Rd. 882, Selma, AL 36701, 875-8974.

Make all checks payable to:

ALS Association/ Alabama Chapter and mail to either of the above addresses. Please help us to have a fantastic Walk and a great showing of contributions to draw awareness to the need for more research into the cause, treatment and cure for the devasting Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS).

Once again, I would like to thank you all in advance for your wonderful support, your prayers, your donations and thoughts in our endeavor to “Strike out ALS.”

May God continue to bless each and every one of you and keep you all well and safe and God bless the city of Selma and our nation.

Sincerely,

Dorothye Jackson
