James Walter &8220;Buddy&8221; Dunklin

James Walter &8220;Buddy&8221; Dunklin of Marion, AL died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be Thursday April 17, at 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday,

April 16, at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.

Kenneth Earl Burden

Kenneth Earl Burden, 40, a resident of Selma, passed April 12, 2008.

Marion C. &8220;Bull&8221;

Bowden Sr.

Marion C. &8220;Bull&8221; Bowden ,

Sr., born on December 19, 1919, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008.

Bull was a combat veteran from both World War II and the Korean War and was a member of the 47th Fighter Interceptor Squadron in Niagara Falls, New York.

During his service, he was awarded the Good Conduct medal, the UN Service medal and the National Defense Service medal.

He retired from the United States Air Force in 1967 and then later retired from the City of Selma in 1987.

Bull was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by Frances, his wife of 62 years; daughter, Joyce (Denny) Holt; granddaughters, Jina (Chris) Clark and Lorrie (Tom) Abrahamson; great grandson, Tucker Abrahamson; two sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Hope Hull United Methodist Church, Rev. Steve Spining officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Horizon Hospice Services of Mont-gomery.
