Her life was short, but she left an undeniable legacy.

In her 17 years, Jessica Lynne Lolley shared her spirit of peace, unity and love of Christ.

Ask anyone who knew her to describe her personality, and their first reaction may be laughter.

Westwood Church of God is dedicating its remodeled youth center and gymnasium to Jessica on Saturday.

The funds were donated by the community after Jessica was killed in a car accident in February 2007.

The center will serve the Overdrive Youth Outreach Ministry, named in honor of Jessica&8217;s personality.

The center will be open to all. One of Jessica&8217;s desires was that all people in the city and county, especially youth, would come together and forget their differences.

Meadowview Christian Headmaster Dr. Michael Gaylor remembers Jessica as always having a smile on her face.

Losing her was devastating, and the impact she had on the students and staff

will not soon be forgotten.

Jessica was a member of the Student Government Association, Senior Beta Club, a member of the softball team and sang during school chapel services.

As member of the Selma-Dallas County Youth Ambassadors, Jessica worked closely with youth from around Dallas County as well as local government leaders.

Sherry Lolley said her daughter&8217;s death has left a void in her family&8217;s life, and it&8217;s been a struggle coping with the loss.

More than 3,000 youth attended Jessica&8217;s wake, and 600 attended her funeral.

Lambert issued an alter call at the funeral, and 50 youths dedicated their lives to Christ.

Jessica would have been a senior at Meadowview this year. An empty chair will be be placed on the field in her honor.
