A fire destroyed a mobile home Thursday, but nobody was injured.

The fire occurred at 4967 U.S. Hwy. 80 West in the city about 9:50 a.m. Thursday.

A report filed at the Selma Fire Department stated the suspected cause of the fire could possibly have been electrical.

The origin of the fire was around the hot water tank and electrical panel box, according to the report.

Engine 105, Rescue Unit 107 and Support Unit 108 from the city responded as did Potter Station Volunteer Fire Department.
