Vandals caused a stir Friday morning after spray-painting racist epithets on a school bus parked at Valley Grande Elementary over night.

Authorities said a substitute driver unwittingly took the bus on its regular route for Martin Middle School on Friday morning. The racial graffiti on the bus upset parents who lived along the route.

Don Willingham, executive assistant with the Dallas County School District, said the

school is working with the Selma Police Department and the Dallas County Sheriff&8217;s Department to find the individuals who vandalized the buses.
