Gibson is being held in the Dallas County Jail after being charged with first degree kidnapping, with a bond of $300,000, second-degree burglary with a bond of $30,000 and violation of state probation, which carries no bond.

Authorities said they believed Gibson went to Casadie Wallace’s house off County Road 177 in Marion Junction, and waited for the 23-year-old woman until she came home.

Gibson allegedly took Wallace by force to Perry County, where authorities accused him of assaulting her. Gibson is accused of hitting Wallace several times on the head with a gun.

Authorities said Wallace received treatment from an area hospital that included receiving several staples in her head, then released.

Dallas County sheriff’s investigators said there were no signs of sexual assault.

In January, authorities arrested Gibson and charged him with second-degree burglary after Wallace reported he allegedly broke into her residence.

Gibson was on probation on a conviction of discharging shots into an occupied vehicle a year ago. Authorities said he fired shots into the vehicle of Wallace’s sister.
