Friday&8217;s Jubilee events include a mock trial with celebrity judge Mablean Ephraim presiding,

a children&8217;s sojourn and a presentation of awards to individuals known as &8220;Invisible Giants&8221; of the Civil Rights movement.

As of yet, a keynote speaker for Sunday&8217;s Unity Breakfast has not been confirmed.

Sen. Hillary Clinton was scheduled to be the guest speaker

for the Martin and Coretta Scott King Beloved Community Unity Breakfast, but has since had a change of plans.

Sen. Barack Obama has been invited, but is not confirmed to attend, according to Jubilee organizers.

Friday&8217;s scheduled events kick off with the Invisible Giants conference, which will present awards to participants of the civil rights movement. Worth Long, one recipient, is an ethnomusicologist who studies blues and gospel and an activist who suffered alongside many protesters during the height of the movement.

The induction of member&8217;s into the Women&8217;s Hall of Fame is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the National Voting Rights Museum and Institute. Organizers said details of the induction have yet to be confirmed as of early Thursday afternoon.

Dr. Cornel West, professor of religion and African American studies at Princeton University and author of the book &8220;Race Matters,&8221; will lecture at Wallace Community College-Selma.

The lecture and dialogue costs $5.

TV judge Mablean Ephraim will preside over a 5 p.m. mock trial at the Dallas County Courthouse entitled &8220;Who Killed Jim Crow?&8221; The trial will have individuals who participated in the civil rights movement speak on how Jim Crow laws were knocked down, and a case on whether Jim Crow is really dead will be presented to witnesses.
