All eyes will be

on Birmingham on Thursday morning as the Selma High School girls basketball team takes the court against

Clay Chalkville for a chance to bring home the state title.

The girls have worked hard this season and brought pride to their school and this community.

Their coaches and the members of the basketball team should be congratulated for just making it this far. But from what we&8217;ve observed on the court and at practice, these girls have a solid shot at bringing home the championship trophy.

Win or lose, Selma High School will represent the city and county well, we&8217;re sure of that.
