Samuel B. Alison

Samuel B. Alison, age 85 of Montgomery died Thursday, February 21, 2008 at his home.

Mr. Alison was born Feb. 9, 1923 to Beekman & Annie Mae Alison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings, Mr. Beekman Lee Aliosn, Jr.; Miss Frances Gowen Aliosn; and Mr. Montgomery Wingfield (Winkie) Alison, Sr.

He is survived by one niece, Anna Grace Alison Smith and three nephews, Montgomery W. Alison, Jr.; Samuel S. Alison and Clyde B. Alison and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He worked for many years as an auditor for the State of Alabama, and was an avid fan of his alma mater&8217;s ball teams &8212; the Auburn Tigers.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at St. Paul&8217;s Episcopal Church, Carlowville, Al.
