Nancy Adele Cammack

Nancy Adele Cammack died on Tuesday, February 5,

2008 in Danville, Alabama.

Nancy was born in Selma, Alabama to Gillis Cammack and Patricia Bridges Cammack.

Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Pat Cammack; her sister Ann Cammack Mitchell; and grandparents Gillis Cammack, Jr.; and Carrilea Cammack of Selma.

Nancy was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church of Selma. She was a graduate of Morgan Academy and an honor graduate of Auburn University. While at Auburn, Nancy was the Kappa Alpha fraternity sweetheart and an officer of Kappa Delta sorority. After graduation, she became a flight attendant for Delta Airlines in Atlanta, GA and traveled the world.

Nancy then married Jim Littleford of Frostproof, Florida.

She was the mother of two children, Chris and Carrilea.

The family resided in Selma for twelve years, where Nancy was the director of Eppworth House, assisted living facility.

She taught high school at Selma High School and John T. Morgan Academy.

After the family moved from Selma, she became a teacher for Decatur High School in Decatur, Alabama.

Nancy later moved to Birmingham and married Lloyd Clayton.

Her love of nature led her to become an environmentalist and inspirational speaker.

Nancy moved to Mentone, Alabama and promoted the importance and awareness of community.

She organized numerous fellowship events in Mentone.

Nancy is survived by her children Christopher James Littleford of Birmingham, Carrilea Cammack Littleford of Danville, her father, Gillis Cammack of Selma, her sister Kim Cammack Cogle, of Cullman, and nieces Bridges Swift of Birmingham, Mackenzie Cogle of Cullman, and nephews Robbie and Brandon Cogle of Cullman.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Alacare Hospice of Decatur, 2708 Highway 31 South, Suite B. Decatur, AL, 35603.

A memorial service will be held at Avondale Park Chapel, 4220 Woodvale Road, Birmingham, on February 17, 2008, at 2 p.m.

A fellowship hour will follow the service.

Linda McBride

Linda McBride, 53, a resident of Brent, AL, died Feb. 1, 2008, at Brookwood Hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

James Liles Richards

James L. Richards, 90, of Catherine, AL, died Wed., Feb. 6, 2008.

Visitation will be at Catherine Baptist Church on Sat., Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service.

Burial will follow in Catherine Cemetery.

Cecil Lamar Dixon

Cecil Lamar Dixon passed away Feb 7, 2008 at Baptist South Hospital Montgomery, AL.

Theodore Foster

Theodore Foster, 60, of Selma, AL, died Feb. 8, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital.

James Gaines

James Gaines, 57, of Minter, AL, died on Feb., 7, 2008 at a local hospital.
