Cecil Odis Campbell

Cecil Odis Campbell, 89, of Selma died February 9, 2008 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Martin officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his son, Cecil Odis Campbell Jr., stepdaughters, Frankie Hannah (David), Rebecca Williams, Ruby Fretwell (Bill), grandchildren, Danielle Lawrence and Pam Hannah, and six great-grandchildren, Taylor Sebren, Tyler Sebren, Hannah Johnson, Brooke Lawrence, Abigail Johnson, and Riley Rogers. Mr. Campbell is also survive by his sisters, Myrtle Campbell Klinner and Myrtis Campbell Kohler (Walt), a brother, Eldred Campbell (Aveline), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnnie Edward &8216;Bud&8217; Evans

A homegoing celebration of the late Deacon Johnnie Edward &8220;Bud&8221; Evans was held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Marion Baptist Academy. Burial was in Morning Star Cemetery under the direction of Lee & Rollins Funeral Directors.Mr. Evans was born Sept. 12, 1918 and died Feb. 9, 2008 in Vaughan Regional Medical Center, Selma.

Willie Charles Moore

Mr. Willie Charles Moore, age 72, of Selma, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2008 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Earl Carswell and Rev. Rod Rodchester officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife Barbara Chavers Moore, his sons, Charles Randy Moore and David Darrell Moore, and a daughter Sheila Diane Harris (Scott).Mr. Moore is also survived by seven grandchildren, Charles Randy Moore Jr., Brandon Harris, Christy Harris, Jessica Moore, Landon Moore, Casey Moore, and Chelsea Moore, and five great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Brandon Harris, Scott Harris, Charles Randy Moore Jr., and Jonathan Sebren, David Sebren, and Roy Kaldor.Visitation will be held on Monday February 11, 2008 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Willie Jackson

Willie Jackson, formerly of Marion, died in Chicago. The funeral will be today from the Berean Baptist Church, Marion. The pastor, the Rev. C.D. Wood, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Marion City Cemetery under the direction of Lee & Rollins Funeral Home Directors.
