Ka&8217;marrion Watts, 6 months, of Selma,

Alabama passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sat. Feb. 9, 2008 at 12 p.m. at Ellwood Community Church.

Officiated by Rev. Gary Crum.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include parents, Melanie Rucker and Michael Watts;

two sisters, Magan Watts, Valencia Johnson; grandmother Cynthia Rucker; great-grandmother Mary Ghee and Ethel Watts. Grandmother Geraldine Watts, God mother Gloria Cunningham, and a host of Aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Linda Fay Campbell

Linda Fay Campbell, age 48, passed Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at her home.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Elyton B. Church in Plantersville, AL.

Rev. J.R. Curry will be officiating and Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Directing. Surviving is her mother, Pearlie Taylor; sons, Terrence and Lavaris Campbell; a daughter, Tawanka Campbell; three sisters,

Alfreda Morrow, Yvonne Stevenson (Percy), Cassandra Morrow; two brothers, Alfred (Cassandra) Morrow Jr. and Melvin Morrow; other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Pallbearers will be cousins, nephews, and friends.

Flower Girls will be class of 1977.

Curtis Hudson

Curtis Hudson, 60, died February 2, 2008, at his residence in Minter, AL.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sat., Feb. 9, 2008 at 11: a.m. at Mr. Nebo Baptist Church in Minter, officiated by Rev. Frank Miles.

Burial will be in the Brown Family Cemetery and will be directed Lewis Brothers Funeral Home, Inc.

Survivors include mother, Ophelia Hudson, four daughters , Yolanda McClendon, L.D. Brown, Contessia Cobbs, Tawanna Cobbs; three brothers, Joe Hudson, Leon Hudson, and Willie Hudson. four sisters, Johnnie Hamilton, Estelle Hudson, Inell Harris and Maggie McGee; three aunts, Lucille Cathey, Elsie Parker, Jessie (Horace) Christian and one Uncle Ned Brown.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Ms. Sarah Kimber

Ms. Sarah A. Kimber, 54, a resident of Selma, Ala., passed away Monday, February 4, 2008, in Selma.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sat. Feb. 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel

officiated by Rev. G. C. Williams.

Burial will be in Pineview Memory Gardens, directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include mother; Ella Kimber, one son Michael Kimber (Mashad Palmer-Kimber); two daughters, DaEngland Kimber and April Kimber,; two brothers, James Kimber of Grand Prairie, TX and Tyrone Kimber of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.; two sisters Ora Rutledge (deceased), Minnie Johnson of Atlanta, GA; one daughter-in-law, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law, 10 nieces and 8 nephews. Pallbearers and flower bearers will be the class of 1971.

Buena Jeanine Parsons

Buena Jeanine Parsons , 68 of Birmingham passed away, Monday February 4, 2008. Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Gardens, Sat Feb 9 at 2 p.m. in Selma, AL.

Jeanine was a graduate of Balboa High School, Panama Canal Zone.

She was a former member of the First Christian Church of Prattville, AL, and retired from St. Vincent&8217;s Hospital. She is survived by her sons, Ken May (Karen) and James May (Cheryl); sister, Martha Pittman (James); grandchildren; Michael, Gillian, Maris and Jackson May; and several great-grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Villa Maria Retirement Community.

A visitation service will be held Thursday evening at Johns-Ridout&8217;s Funeral Parlors Southside Chapel from 6 until 8 p.m.

Ronnie Barrett

Ronnie Barrett, age 54, of Crestview passed away on Wednesday February 6, 2008 at Parthenon Health Care.

He was born in Greenville, Alabama, on April 1, 1953, to Reverend Columbus and Thelma Barrett.

Ronnie has lived in Crestview for the last 9 years, he moved here from Maplesville, Alabama.

He worked for Raytheon Aerospace for many years and retired from the United States Army National Guard Reserve Clanton, Alabama Unit.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leverne Barrett, and two sisters, Gladys Clements and Geraldine Motley.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Avis Cleckler.

Daughters: Misty Wilson and her husband Gordon of Alexander City, Ala.,

Alesia Barrett of Alexander City, Ala.

Brothers: Pete Barrett and his wife Ellen of Enterprise, Ala., Paul Barrett and his wife Jan of Lakeland, Fla.,

sister, Bonnie Dees and her husband Michael of Crestview, Fla.;

grandchildren, Will, Kristin, Matthew, and Na-than; many nieces; nephews; and extended family.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008, from 11

am.

till 1 p.m. at the University Highway Church of God with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. with Reverend Mike Chandler and Reverend Billy Boatwright officiating.

Burial will follow in the University Highway Church of God Cemetery with Reverend Charles Whisnand of the Church of the Covenant of Crestview officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations are made in Ronnie&8217;s honor to help with funeral expenses.

Mary Mason

Ms. Mary Mason, 81, of Orrville, AL passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 12 noon at John The Baptist Church.

Officiated by Rev. Curtis Williams.

Burial will be in Pine Level in Arlington, AL.

Survivor&8217;s include two sons Jesse (Deloris)

Mason of Birmingham, AL and Willie (Yulanda) Mason of Orrville, AL.; two daughters, Rosie Mason of Birmingham, AL and Alice Mason of Orrville, AL.; one sister, Beatrice (Jack) Greene of Arlington, AL, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two

daughters-in-law, one brother-in-law, five nieces and seven nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Delores Towns Wiley

Delores &8220;Dimples&8221; Towns Wiley, 72, formerly of Pleasant Hill, passed Jan. 27, 2008, in Detroit, MI.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sat. Feb. 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. from Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. John Ward officiating and Rev. L.L. Brown, Sr. eulogist.

Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery with J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Mary Morgan Rountree

Mrs. Mary Morgan Rountree passed away at her home in Mobile on Wednesday February 6, 2008, at the age of 96.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday February 9, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Valley Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Cecil Williamson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Rountree was a native of Dallas County and a resident of Mobile for many years.

She was a lifelong member of Valley Creek Presbyterian Church in Selma and a descendant of Enoch Morgan, one of the church&8217;s founders and among the earliest settlers of Dallas County.

She attended Montevallo College. Mrs. Rountree was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her greatest joy was to give unselfishly to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Wylie Rountree, her parents, Vesta Crawford Morgan and John Lewis Morgan Sr., a sister, Ola Lloyd, and a brother, John Lewis Morgan Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Cowling of Mobile, a son and daughter-in-law, James and Hilda Rountree of Huntsville, AL, four grandchildren, James H. Cowling of Lake Mary, FL, John W.

Cowling of Mobile, Ashlyn R.

Crumbley and James W. Rountree III of Huntsville, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Valley Creek Presbyterian Church in the care of Seleta Llewellyn, 4329 Alabama Highway 22, Selma, AL 36701.

Family will receive friends on Saturday February 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Malachi Martin

Malachi Martin, Sr., 99, a resident of Selma, passed Feb. 5, 2008 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for Sat. Feb. 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of J. H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. George Bennet officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairlawn memory Garden. Survivors include a son, Malachi (Amanda) Martin, Jr. of Chicago, IL; a daughter Alice Martin West of Selma; two brothers Fred Martin and C.D. Martin of Selma; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Lee Young Martin, parents Wes and Alberta McElwain Martin, a son, Walter Wes Martin and a brother Adolph Martin.
