Mrs. Dorothy L. Middleton, 64, died Feb. 1, 2008, at her home.

Orrville &8212; Ms. Mary Mason, 81, died Feb. 1, 2008, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Miller Funeral Home Inc.

Ms. Barbara Ann

&8220;Bobbie&8221; Yarbrough

Ms. Barbara Ann &8220;Bobbie&8221; Yarbrough, 74, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Clay Yarbrough and grandson Lucas Alan Yarbrough.

Surviving is her son, the Rev. Alan (Pam) Yarbrough, daughter, Yolande &8220;Londie&8221; (William) Turberville; brother, Ralph Smith; sister, Wanda Thomas; grandchildren, Paul Bender, Austin Bender, Josh Yarbrough and Joel Yarbrough; great-grandchildren, Tanner Bender, Mary Katharine Bender and Preston Bender.

Mrs. Yarbrough was an avid collector of clowns, jewelry, clothes, shoes and Elvis memorabilia and enjoyed roller skating, music and watching television.

Visitation for Mrs. Yarbrough will be held from 1&045;2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008,

in the sanctuary of Crosspoint Christian Church. Her funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Britton officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Dean, Jeremy Gardner, Austin Bender, Josh Yarbrough, Joel Yarbrough and Nick Cravato.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Warren Manor Nursing Home and also Cahaba Hospice for their service to Mrs. Yarbrough.

Dr. John T. Moore Jr.

Dr. John Thomas Moore Jr., 82, of Orrville died Friday, Feb.1, 2008.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, in Orrville Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Henry Smith and the Rev. Wiley Reid officiating and directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Dr. Moore is survived by his wife Carolyn M. Moore of Orrville; daughter, Dianne Hardin and son-in-law Wes Hardin of Birmingham; grandchildren, Wesley and Davis Hardin of Birmingham; nieces, Caroline (Jim) Bigger of Beatrice and Clementine (Calvin) Bowie of Orrville; brother-in-law, Clinton Seale; honorary grandchildren, Stephen (Rebecca) Tidwell, and Kay (Michael) Sanford and their mother Mary Anne (Tommy) King.

Serving as pallbearers will be Buddy Hardin, Bell Kendrick, Tommy McHugh, Jeff Looney, Calvin Bowie, and Stephen Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Barrett, Robert Kirk, Tommy King, Larry Nickles, Wayne Nickles, Billy Plummer, and Jack Adcox.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Marion Junction.

Mr. Earnest Wellington

Mr. Earnest Wellington of Cartersville, Ga. was born on April 6, 1964, to the late Emmett And Corine Hunter Wellington in Sardis, Ala.

Earnest&8217;s courageous fight for life ended on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, Ala.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.,

Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at

New Bride Baptist Church in Sardis, Ala.

Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Miller Funeral Services directing and Pastor Curtis

He accepted Christ and joined the Historical Brown Chapel A.M.E.

church in Selma, Ala.

Earnest&8217;s job granted him the opportunity to travel an array of cities.

During his stay in Grand Prairie, Texas, he joined the Potter&8217;s House Church under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes.

Earnest was an outstanding salesman of 14 years with Kirby Vacuum Company.

Due to his success as a salesman, Earnest became a distributor, managing his own office in Oct. 2006.

He worked diligently until his health descended.

He leaves behind one sister, Mary Ann Smith (Joenathan), South Holland, Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, George Hunter (Phyllis), Fair Banks,

Alaska; A.C. Hunter (Ethel), Selma, Ala., David Hunter (Sharon) Valley Grande, Ala.; three aunts, Anna Landers, Sardis, Ala.; Willie Lee Hunter, Sardis, Ala.; Mary Wagner, Clewiston, Fla.; 11 nephews and three nieces.

A host of half brothers and sisters, cousins and friends; and

a special friend Crystal Stallard of Cartersville, Ga.

Mr. Joe Ballenger Williams Jr.

ABBEVILLE &8212; Joe Ballenger Williams Jr., a resident of Abbeville,

died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008.

He was 61.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Williams was born in Selma, son of the late Joe Ballenger Williams Sr. and Mary Louise Boggs Williams. He lived in Maryville, Tenn. from 1983 until 2007, when he moved to Ab-beville.

Mr. Williams was a graduate of Parish High School in Selma and the University of Alabama where he received a degree in ac-counting. He also received a master&8217;s degree in secondary education from the University of Tennessee.

Mr. Williams was retired from Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tenn., where he taught economics and geography.

He was of the Presbyterian Faith.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Sarah Woodham Williams, Abbeville, Ala.; three sons, Braxton Scott Woodham and fiancee, Barndi Kim, San Francisco, Calif.; William Bradley Sealy and fiancee, Olivia Yoon, Los Angeles, Calif.; Clark Woodham Williams, Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Mary Louise Mason and husband, Ernest Mason, Charlotte, N.C.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Billy Woodham, Hudson, Fla.; Charles Woodham and wife, Di-anne Woodham, Abbeville; Gene Woodham and wife, Guen Woodham, Pelham, Ala.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Those who knew Joe, saw him as a friend, a father, a husband,a financial advisor, a golf partner, a son, a brother, a neighbor, a jokester, and certainly one with a heart of gold, especially for those less fortunate. And the philosophy he lived by and urged others to follow was, &8220;If you know how to spend less than you get, you have the philosopher&8217;s stone,&8221; &8212; BenjaminFranklin.

Ms. Sara Carroll Jackson

Ms. Sara Carroll Jackson, 84, of Furman died Friday Feb. 1, 2008, in Camden.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Stringfield.

She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Carroll of McWilliams, nephews, John (Jennifer) Jackson of Warner Robins, Ga. and Carl (Rixene) Jackson of Camden, and other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jackson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30- 11 a.m. Monday morning.
