The Francis Marion Rams got the lift they needed Friday night.

Jerome Smith and Deadrian Williams both provided double-doubles in the Rams’ 58-56 road win over Sumter County.

Smith scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and also had five assists and five steals. Williams had 10 points and 14 rebounds. Kenneth Tabb also had five assists and four rebounds.

Trumaine May led Sumter with 12 points, and Deadrian Winn scored 20.
