MARION &8212; Baby Warerlonna Hogue, 3 months old, died Jan. 18, 2008, in Children&8217;s Hospital, Birmingham.

Mr. Albert Thurman Yelverton

Mr. Albert Thurman Yelverton, 84, passed away on

Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, in Pelham.

Mr. Yelverton was a lifelong native of Uniontown and was preceded in death by a son, Albert &8220;Al&8221; Thurman Yelverton Jr. in 2005 and brother, George Wallace Yelverton of Selma.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Pearl (Hoggle) Yelverton and daughter, Deborah Ann Carlson of Pelham; sisters Violet Yelverton of Selma and Elaine Bishop of Millbrook; grandsons Mark Yelverton Jefcoat and wife Mandy Hamm Jefcoat of Monroeville, and Edward Stewart Jefcoat and wife Jodie Ketchum Jefcoat of Troy; great-grandchildren, Mark Alan Jefcoat and Ella Ann Jefcoat of Monroeville; and Frankie Jay Jefcoat of Troy.

Mr. Yelverton served his country in the US Air Corp during World War II including the Battle in Okinawa.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at the Uniontown United Methodist Church, and the funeral graveside services will be at 11 a.m. at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown with the Rev. Jim Watters and the Rev. Arthur Noland officiating with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors directing.
