One of the four suspects, Jeffery Ervin, arrested in the alleged Sonic Drive-In robbery has been linked to an October 2007 shooting into a residence in the 2300 block of Hardy Street. Ervin, 20, was apprehended as the fourth suspect and an alleged gunman in the Sonic holdup.

Police also say Ervin is a person of interest in the October 2007 Hardy Street shooting where a woman was watching TV and a bullet shattered the screen.

Another of the four Sonic suspects, Crealist Deshawn Reynolds, 18, police said, is a person of interest in the Sept. 17, 2007, armed robbery of Murphy Oil in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Reynolds, Ervin and Justin Charles Malone, 17, charged as an adult in the Sonic heist, are suspects in the Sept. 19, 2007, burglary of a home in the 400 block of King Street, police said.

Police still have a number of unsolved robberies, including the New Year&8217;s Day armed robbery of the Ramada on Highland Avenue.
