Point guard Jakobe Shannon led Selma with 17 points, and the Saints won their opening game in the Selma Invitational Tournament.

Shannon and Justin Ravizee both were 2-for-2 from the free throw line down the stretch to nail down the game for Selma.

Selma will play Sidney Lanier in the final game Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
