Ms. Melakkiki Edwards, Selma native, died Thursday, Dec. 20 at Tuscaloosa County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Little Rock Baptist Church at 2980 Rangeline Road.

Ms. Marilyn Dian

Marshall Ozuor

Ms. Marilyn Dian Marshall Ozuor, resident of Oakland, Calif., was called home to rest Saturday, Dec. 15 at Alameda County Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Isom H. Marshall Jr,. and Ethel Lee Waller Marshall.

Services will be held 1 p.m., Dec. 26, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel and officiated by the Rev. J.D. Mobley. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Services will be directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home, Inc.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Kaylynn Ozuor-Olds; and four grandchildren, Derick Cade, Imani Cade, Jasmine Cade, and Gavin Cade of Oakland, Calif.

She is the sister of Isom H. Marshall III and Jean Marshall; also the niece of Billie Jean Marshall, all of Selma.

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Samuel Morrow

Mr. Samuel Morrow, of Plantersville, died Dec. 24 at Montgomery County Hospital.

Services are incomplete and will be announced at a later date by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home, Inc.

Mr. Eddie McConnell

Mr. Eddie McConnell, 76, of Selma died Dec. 24 at his residence.
