Mrs. Reba Jo Crowe

Mrs. Reba Jo Crowe, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007.

She was a member of Lighthouse Church and Brother Earl Flint&8217;s Sunday school class.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Dec. 10, at Leak-Memory Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Mickey Kirkland officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Leak-Memory Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph W. Crowe, and daughter-in-law, Marianne R. Crowe. She is survived by four children; Joe W. and Nina Wood Crowe of Decatur, Elizabeth C. and Garner Williams of Montgomery, Randy C. and Andy Harris of Valley Grande and Milton E. Crowe of Selma; two adopted daughters; Gloria Flint of Montgomery and Diane Collins of Valley Grande; one sister, Johnnie Ruth Parker of Pike Road; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife and loving mother, a published writer and recipient of several writers&8217; awards. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer&8217;s Assoc., Southern Care Hospice or your favorite organization. Visitation was from noon until 1 p.m. Dec. 10 at Leak-Memory Chapel.

Mrs. Bridget Adams Borowski

Bridget Adams Borowski of Bonham, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007.

She is survived by her daughters Tamara B. Rivers (Steve) and Susan C. Borowski; five grandchildren, Brandin Hutto, Darrin Borowski, Amberlyn Borowski, Adam Rivers and Afton Rivers, all of Texas; a brother, Edward Adams of Brewton, and a sister Carolyn Robertson of Tennessee and a number of cousins in Selma.

Mrs. Borowski was the daughter of the late William Austin and Dessie Adams of Selma and was a 1958 graduate of A. G. Parrish High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester C. (Chuck) Borowski, Jr.
