Calvin Edwards is developing a knack for the incredible.

He used the clues and skills as a law enforcement officer to solve Holiday Hideaway. Edwards claimed the $1,000 cash prize, and a Suzuki DR-125 motorcycle.

Edwards used his heart to save a puppy Nov. 30 in Valley Grande. She had fallen 30 feet down a well. One could say he&8217;s been living right.

Edwards said he searched for the Hidden Treasure Chest in an earlier promotional, but had no luck. He said the clues involving arrows and the last clues on Friday helped. They lead Edwards to a yellow directional sign on County Road 32.

But daddy&8217;s getting a dirt bike, Edwards said.

The promotion was sponsored by The Selma Times-Journal, along with Pepsi, WDXX-FM 100.1, and Lee Motor Sports.
