The Morgan Academy Senators added to their win total Tuesday night.

Morgan (8-2) battled evenly the first two quarters but pulled away decisively in the second half to take a 56-40 win over Tuscaloosa Academy (4-3)

“Defense won it for us. We got on them early and stayed there,” said Morgan coach Lee Tate.

Logan Cowart led Morgan with 13 points, followed by Sate Tate with 12 and Weston Mason with 10. Tate also led the Senators with 10 rebounds, and Heath Harrelson pulled down five.
