Larry Eugene

Larry Eugene &8220;Hawkeye&8221; Free, age 50, a resident of Millbrook, Ala., passed away Dec. 4, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Allen Free; mother-in-law, Katherine O&8217;Neal; nephews Shane Moody and Eric Free, and nieces, Leslie Gail Pierce and Mary Lou Owens.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Free; father, Lenard Free; mother, Irene Stewart; step-mother, Ann Free; sons, David (Kristina) Free and Brian Free; daughters, Angela Mejia (Eric) Aries and Cheyene Free; brothers, Richard Free; Dennis Buchanan and Stephen Buchanan; and sisters, Denise Free (Russel) Hardy and Anita Free (Tommy) Owens and a host of nieces and nephews and two grandsons-to-be, Keith Alan Free and Nathan Eugene Free.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Chandler officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Ferrari, Keith Free, Jared Moody, Taylor Harcrow and John Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Crews and Grey Layton.

Mr. Free enjoyed fishing, playing cards, golf, traveling and collecting knives and swords.

He also had a passion for eagles.
