MARION JUNCTION &045; Mrs. Hattie P. Craig, 87, of Marion Junction died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at Vaughn Regency Medical Center.

Mrs. Craig is survived by two sons, Samuel DeArma Craig Jr. and Percy James Craig; three daughters, Dorothy Craig Rambo, Irma Craig Thomas and Lena Craig Agnew; a sister, Lula Manuel; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are 11 a.m.

Thursday at Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. C.A. Lett will officiate.

Burial will follow in Aimwell Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Keith Thomas, Sedrick Craig, Christopher Rambo, Samahl Craig, Jonathan Agnew and Brandon Thomas.

A wake will be held 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday at Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church.

Ms. Murl Elizabeth Troha

Ms. Murl &8220;Elizabeth&8221; Troha, 77, of Opelika, formerly of Selma, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Lawrence Funeral Home.

Mr. Alexander Joseph Maxey

Mr. Alexander Joseph Maxey, departed this life on Oct. 28, 2007, in Romulus, Mich. He was born in Selma on Jan. 28, 1926, to the late Andrew and Izetta Maxey.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary P. Reeve; a son, Martin A. Maxey; and brothers, Charles Maxey, and William Bennett.

Survivors include his wife Gwendolyn; a daughter, Jacqueline; sons, Darrell of Ann Arbor, Mich., Joseph and his wife Cornelia of Mississauga, Ontario, Michael and his wife Jacqueline of Durham, N.C., and

Matthew of Romulus, Mich.; sisters, Izetta Maxey Maull and Mary Frances Headen of Selma, Dorothy Martin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Mattie Griffin of Detroit, Mich.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, the Reeves and Reed families, many nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives and friends.
