James L. Grimes

James L. Grimes, 52, a resident of Selma, passed Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2007, at 1 p.m. at

Miller’s Chapel with the Rev. G.C. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, directed by Miller Funeral Service.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Lee and Penny Grimes.

He leaves to cherish his memories. His step mom; Eddie Mae Lee; son, James Lee Nettles of Selma, Ala.; daughter, Janie Mae Sample of Huntsville, Ala.; four brothers; Robert Lee, Ronny Lee, Lee Lee, Micheal Lee, Rick Lee all of Selma, Ala.; sister, Gertrude Grimes Mitchell of Selma, Ala.; three grandchildren; one son-in-law; one brother-in-law; nine nieces; five nephews, and a host of relatives.
