Audrey Brigance Howard

Audrey Brigance Howard, 78, of Selma died Oct. 30, 2007, at a Montgomery Hospital.

Services will be at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Micah Gandy and Guy Anderson officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Howard; brothers, Kenneth Brigance and Hub Brigance. She is survived by her son, Tim S. Howard of Orange Beach, Ala.; daughters, Charlotte (Jack) Ousley of Selma and Nan (Greg) Durio; grandchildren, Jacque (Wesley) Kelly, Wade (Nikki) Ousley, April Ousley, Jennifer Durio, Jamie Durio, and Brandon Caver; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia (Roy) Gillespie of Montgomery, Marjorie (Carl) Deason of Pike Road; Brothers, Elmer (Alice) Brigance of Marietta, Ga. and Wendell Brigance (Connie) of Lillburn, Ga. Active pallbearers will be Wade Ousley, Wesley Kelly, Paul Bearden, Glenn Reid, Tip Hon, and Ray Hon. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jamie Durio. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov.1, 2007.

Mrs. Howard was a devoted member of Elkdale Baptist Church for many years. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Elkdale Baptist Church.

Emma D. Caver

Emma D. Caver, 75, a resident of Selma, passed Oct. 29, 2007.

Service are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at 12 noon from the chapel of J.J. Williams & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

James L. Grimes

James L. Grimes, 52, a resident of Selma, passed Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service.

James Lee Heard

James Lee Heard, 69, a resident of Selma, passed Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Ala.

Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at 12 noon at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Hwy 183 Sprott, Ala. Burial in the Church Cemetery. Lee and Rollins Funeral Home Directing.
