L. Leshore, 94, a resident of Hayneville, passed Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Mr. James P. Jackson

James P. Jackson, resident of Selma, passed at his home on Monday, Oct. 29, 2007. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Marvin Parker

Marvin Parker, 49, a resident of Selma, passed Thursday, Oct.25, 2007, at his home.

Mr. Charles Smiley

Charles Smiley, 65, a resident of Selma, passed Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Ms. Vivian Mason

Vivian Mason, 75, a resident of Safford, passed Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at her home.

Emma D. Caver

Emma D. Caver, 75, a resident of Selma passed Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Mr. David Earl Small Sr.

David Earl Small, Sr., age 57, of Valley Grande, Ala. passed away Oct. 27, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Small.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Peggy Small; his mother, Ruby Davis Small; sons, David Small Jr. and Matthew Small; daughter, Stacy Small; brothers, Billy Small, James Small, and Jack Small; sisters, Marion Sheppard and Janice Castle; grandchildren, Jennifer Small, Jeffrey Small and Logan Small; brothers-in-law, Ken Ratliff, and Danny Ratliff; sisters-in-law, Liz Ratliff and Becky Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Bill Gardner officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

David enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and hiking.

He worked for the Selma Fire Dept. and Selma Telecable.

He also worked with Boy Scout Troop 126 with the United Memorial Methodist Church for 20 years.

Wesley Williams, 76, resident of Orrville, passed Sunday Oct. 28, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Mr. Richard B. Lee Jr.

Richard B. Lee Jr.,55, of Selma died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at his home.

Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist with the Rev. L.L. Ruffin officiating.

Burial will follow as Pineview Memory Gardens, directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors are his wife; Dorothy Wade Lee; six sons, Raymond (Donzetta) Craig of Montgomery, Ala.; James (Sarah) Craig; Randall (Jackie) Smith; Thomas L. (Cathi) McCants Jr. all of Selma, Ala.; four daughters, Dorothea (Bruce) Wilcox, Los Angeles, Ca.; Sandra Moore, Selma, Ala.; Jackie Lee (Kevin) Kennedy, Camden, Ala.; Maria (Sylvester) Allison, Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, Ardie (Martha) Lee, Selma, Ala.; William (Shirley) Lee of Fostn, Ga.; two sisters, Vivian (Stanford) Black, Detroit, Mich.; Diane Gardner, Demopolis, Ala.; 26 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
