The Rev. Willie Seabon Sr.

The Rev. Willie Seabon, Sr., 94, of Selma died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at 12 noon at St. Joseph AME, Autaugaville, Ala. with the Rev. Leon Henderson officiating.

Burial followed at Walters Jones Cemetery, directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors are his wife; Fannie M. Seabon; two sons, Willie Seabon Jr. (Carol); Wayman Seabon (Edith); two daughters, Minnie Howard (Johnnie Sr.) and

Dorothy (Addy) Callines (Frank) deceased; four sisters, Carrie B. Robinson, Pinky Gray, Viola Johnson, Algerie Chaney-Nelly; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; two sons-in law and two daughters-in-law.

Pallbearers are his grandsons and nephews.

Sherman M. Hughey

Sherman M. Hughey, 92,

a resident of Marion died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Southland Nursing Home.

Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 21,2007, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Sprott, Ala. with Dr. Paul Reltzer and the Rev. Shannon Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Rockco Funeral Home.

Survivors are his two daughters; Patricia McCrory (Dick Dupras) of Ocala, Fla.; Margie

Green (Clyde) of Heiberger, Ala.; two brothers, Jerry Hughey of Mobile, Ala.; and Coy Hughey of Trussville, Ala.; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are; Jeff Green, Jim Green, Kerry Mitchell, Lawrence Hughey, Richard Hughey, and Phillip Hughey.

Ernest Alvin Lolley

Ernest Alvin Lolley, 76, of Linden, Ala., passed away at

his home Oct. 17, 2007. He was born Aug. 18, 1931, in Uniontown, Ala. to Clifton and Dera Lolley.

He was a retired machine operator from James River Corporation. He was also a former Marengo County Deputy Sheriff and Linden City Councilman. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Visitation will be at Linden Baptist Church on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service time with Dr. Randy Creel and Dr. Jerry Gunnells officiating. Burial will be at Linden Memorial Park in Linden, Ala.

He is survived by two sons; Robert Keith Lolley of Marietta, Ga. and Charles Richard &8220;Rick&8221; (Jenise) Lolley of Van Buren, Ark.; two sisters, Dera Lafata of Selma, Ala., and Coleman Rainey of Selma, Ala.; four grandchildren, Elliot Keith Lolley of Chambers, Pa., Hannah Snow Lolley of Chambersburg, Pa., Charles Patrick Lolley of Van Buren, Ark., and Jason Andrew Lolley of Van Buren, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Snow Lolley, and two brothers, Raymond O. Lolley and Melvin C. Lolley.
