Donald G. ‘Don’ Campbell Sr.

Service for Donald G. “Don” Campbell, Sr. 70, of West Columbia was held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Trinity Baptist church. Officiating was Rev. Dr. Rob White and Rev. Dr. Gray Smoak; burial followed Woodridge Memorial Park, with Masonic Rites. Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 2003 Charleston Highway Cayce, SC 29033 or the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive., Suite 110, Columbia, SC 29204.

Don loving husband of Jonnie Campbell died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007. Born in Maplesville, he was he son of the late Hal E. Campbell and Bessie Ma Moore. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Sr’s Sunday School Class. Don was a member of Jamil Temple, and was active in The Cayce Masonic Lodge.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 50 years, Jonnie Campbell of West Columbia; sons and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Angela Campbell of Pelion, Steve Campbell of West Columbia; grandchildren, Jared Campbell and Brandon Smith.

Josie J. Caldwell

Josie J. Caldwell, 75, a resident of Selma, passed at her home on Oct. 13, 2007. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Julia ‘Micki’ McCall Manely Aurey

Julia “Micki” McCall Manely Autrey passed away at home Monday, Oct. 8, 2007. Graveside sevices were held Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Mark Smith officiating and directed by Selma Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Mac” and Lucyle McCall, and husband Mark Manely.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Autrey, two sons Jay (Tammy) Manley and Eric Manley, grandchildren, Kayla, Travis and Madison.

Friends and Family who wish may make a donation to the Selma Animal Hospital or to the charity of your choice.

Rev. Willie Seabon Sr.

Rev. Willie Seabon, Sr., 94 , of Selma died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at noon at St. Joseph AME, Autaugaville with the Rev. Leon Henderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Walters Jones Cemetery, directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors are his wife; Fannie M. Seabon; Sons, Willie Seabon Jr.(Carol); Wayman Seabon (Edith); two daughters, Minnie Howard (Johnnie Sr.) and

Doroth Callines (Frank); four sisters, Carrie B. Robinson, Pinky Gray, Viola Johnson, Algerie Chaney-Nelly; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren; two son-in laws and two daughter-in-laws.

Pallbearers are his grandsons and nephews.

Albert Wayne Sims

Albert Wayne Sims, age 62, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Kennis officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne D. Sims, mother, Edna B. Sims, four children; Kim Sims Peake (Lee), Shannon Sims Pipkin (Kevin), Ivy Sims Real (Tracy), and Albert Wayne Sims Jr., grandchildren; Mary Taylor Peake, Phillip Lee Peake, Clayton Evan Hawkins, Victoria Grace Pipkin, Gabriel Matthew Pipkin and unborn Trisan Wayne Real, sister, Janice S. Kennis (Joel), and brother, Philip Terry Sims (Lyndie). Wayne Sims had 40 years with Allstate Insurance and was recently voted Selma Times Journal Readers Choice Insurance Agent of the Year. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy McHugh, Ray Denmark, George Denmark, Ronnie Worrell, Robert Luker, Tracey Real and Chuck Utsey.
