Roy Stanley Jones Jr.
Mr. Roy Stanley Jones, Jr., age 62, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Fairhaven Baptist Church in Demopolis, Alabama with Dr. Allen Atkins officiating.
Military Burial will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery Fort Mitchell, Alabama, with Military Honors by the United States Air Force.
The Jones Family will receive friends at Fairhaven Baptist Church Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Survivors include his loving wife, Yvonne H. Jones of Demopolis, two daughters, Summer (Kacy) Mims of Randolph, Ala. and Heather (Chris) Gorman of Maine, one son, Dr. Bryan Jones of Birmingham, Ala., two grandchildren, Karly Mims and Anna Margaret Jones. Roy’s parents, Roy S. Jones, Sr. and Adella Jones both of Selma, one sister, Dea (Billy) Rogers of Powder Springs, Ga. One brother, Alan (Harriette) Jones of Selma and a host of nieces and nephews.
Roy was the Owner and Operator of Jones Oil Co. of Demopolis. He was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church, Gideon’s International and the Bethel Baptist Builders. He served in the United States Air Force, the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency.

Michael W. Crear passed away July 14, 2007.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 22 in the chapel of J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.
Jerry Wayne Rush
Jerry Wayne Rush, age 64, passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 in a local hospital.
Surviving Mr. Rush are his wife Hazel Rush; father, Leo Rush; daughters, Patricia Ann (Johnny) Bennett of Selma, Brenda Rose of Selma, Cathy Dunagan (Johnny Alford) of Grove Hill and Kerri Rush (Chris Gilliam) of Birmingham; sister, Peggy (Ceigel) Miley of Valley Grande; grandchildren, Jenny Agee, Tommy Rose, Jr. , Alex Rose, Casey Lolley, Patricia Lolley, Randall Dunagan, Cindy Kay Lolley, Nick Alford, Lisa Bennett, Madilynn Gilliam, Hailey Bennett, and Shelby
Agee: great grandchildren, Jennifer Allen, Peyton Cunningham, Samantha Bennett, Ethan Lolley and Mason O&8217;Neal Lolley; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rush was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Rush; son, Junior Rush and son-in-law, Tommy Rose, Sr.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Selma Funeral Home with funeral services Monday, July 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in
Pineview Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Rose, Jr., Alex Rose, Ricky Agee, Chris Gilliam, Barry Vines and Johnny Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Alford, and the Deacons of Northside Baptist Church.
