Ms. Minnie J. Underwood, age 77, of Selma, died June 16, 2007 at Oak Trace Care and Rehab.

Funeral services are scheduled for June 22, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel with Rev. G.C. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Miller

Survivors include one sister, Dorothy (James) Shaw; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; two special cousins, Fannie Mae Irby and Elizabeth Maresette; and daughter-in-law, Rosetta Mitchell.

Billy Patterson

Billy Patterson, age 83, of Morris, Ala., left this walk of life on June 19, 2007.

Funeral services will be held at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home on June 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. with burial in Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Billy Martin officiating.

Survivors are his daughter, Cindy (Ron) Perkins; son, Scott Patterson; sister, Patsy Fielder; eight grandchildren, Tucker and Marandah Henry, Alyssa Bryant, Kaulann Perkins, and Crystal, Megan, Mike, Savannah Patterson; and many family and friends.
