Ann Barnett-Hoggle

Ann Barnett-Hoggle, age 66, died Monday March 5, 2007 at her daughter’s home.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 8, 2007 at Crosspoint Christian Church with Bro. Alan Yarbourgh officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing, with burial following at Pineview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Barnett-Hoggle is survived by her husband O&8217; Neal “Duck” Hoggle, a son, Mike Jackson, of Selma, a daughter, Michele Barnett-Sudduth (Bill) of Tuscaloosa, step-daughters, Anita Posey (Jimmy) of Selma, Wanda Lolley of Selma, and Kim Cosby (Jerome) of Prattville.

Mrs. Barnett-Hoggle is also survived by her sisters, Elsie Autrey, Grace Pikron, Dot Thomas, Mary Peake, and a sister-in-law Odereine Sansom. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chase, Lindsey, Shawn, Tony, Shellee, Neal (Summer), Shannon, John Mark, and Haley.

Mrs. Barnett- Hoggle was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Sansom Jr. and her parents, Ernest and Era Sansom.

Active pallbearers will be Bobby Autrey, Mark Dearman, Andy Gubera, Neal Posey, Shawn Smith, Tony Moore, Ed Washburn, and Chris Stowers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Harrison, Jeffrey Kynard, Mike Abney, Danny Howard, Ray Haner, Robert Jordan, Bob Merritt, Wayne Middlebrooks, Henry Lavert, Charles Spence, Cren Pritchett, Teal Cabe, Johnny Stewart, James Smitherman, and Kim Shook.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday March 8, 2007 from 5-7 p.m.

Special thanks to Dr. Pamela Hughes and staff, Dr. Stephen Kornblau and staff, Dr. Amin Alosi and staff, 11th floor of MD Anderson Hospital of Houston, TX, 10th floor ATC @ Clark Clinic, and Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The address is available at the funeral home.

Lucille Glover

Lucille Glover, 84, a resident of Selma, passed March 5, 2007 at Ocean Springs Hospital, Miss.

Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Margaret C. Griffith

Mrs. Margaret Cleveland Griffith, age 81,

died

Tuesday, March 6,

2007 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007 at The First United Methodist Church of Demopolis with Dr. Art Luckie officiating. Burial will follow in Old Springhill Cemetery with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors in charge of services.

The Griffith Family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Griffith’s husband, John A. Griffith; her parents, Grover Cleveland and Leslie O’Neal Cleveland preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Smith and her husband, Les of Selma; her son, Bruce Griffith and his wife, Kathy of Montgomery; four grandchildren, Lora Lee Boone and her husband, John, Joshua Smith, Aston Smith and Trent Smith; two great grandchildren, Matthew Parker Boone and Andrew Bruce Boone; her brother, Grover C. Cleveland and his wife, Rose of Demopolis.

Pallbearers will be Will Baker, David Cleveland, Joshua Smith, Rick Cleveland, Jimmy Spencer and Tommy Reynolds.

Sarah Monique Thomas, 27, a resident of Selma passed March 5, 2007.
