Erikka Caldwell had a monster game for the Central Christian Academy girls Friday night, helping them run away with a 57-13 win against West Alabama Prep.
Caldwell scored 22 points, pulled down 21 rebounds and also had four blocked shots.
Tiffany Brown came close to another double-double for CCA, scoring 13 points to go along with nine rebounds. She also had three steals.
Aubrianna Laister had eight points, five rebounds and three steals.
Meadowview-Hooper
Despite a game-high 24 points from Hooper’s Jessi Andrews, the Meadowview Lady Trojans held on for a 41-36 win Friday.
Haley Johnston and Deavan Aultman both had well-rounded games to lead Meadowview to victory. Johnston scored 17 points to go along with seven rebounds, and Aultman had 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Adrienne Hitt had six points, and Kayla Kaldor had five points and three steals for Meadowview.
Marion Schools-Escambia
The Marion Schools girls pushed their record this season to 17-2 with a 51-35 road win over Escambia Academy in Atmore Friday night.
Leading 32-21 after the first half, Marion shut out Escambia’s offense 8-0 in the quarter.
The only period in which the Panthers were outscored was the fourth, in which Escambia put together a 14-11 effort.
Emily Easley led Marion with 26 points, and Sarah Fowler had nine.
Leading the way for Escambia were Mallory McGhee with 14 and Jordan Jaye with 12.
