Mr. Henry Davis, age 53, of Autauga County, Ala., died on Dec. 25, 2006, in Autauga County. Funeral services will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service.

James Morgan Dennis

James Morgan Dennis of Selma passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at the age of 63.

He is survived by his daughters Charlotte (Michael) Palmer, Missy (Randy) Malone, and Heather (Jeff) Lindberg; Brothers Charles Edward (Marinda) Dennis and Zannie Lee Murphy, Jr.; Sisters Carol Ann (Gene) Harmon, Emmie Jo (Donald) Posey, Rosie Marie Turner, Brenda Kay (Dennis) Tubbs and Lennie Lee (John) Malion; Grandchildren, Blaze and Kristen Malone, Darcy and Zachary Palmer, Kennedy and Kassidy Lindberg; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Lennie Era Murphy and father Charles Oliver Dennis, and step father Zannie Lee Murphy, Sr.

Visitation was held Tuesday Dec. 26, 2006, 6-8:00 P.M. at Selma Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday Dec. 27, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with interment in Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Alan Lindberg officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Aslean James

Mrs. Aslean James, age 80, of Demopolis, Ala., passed Dec. 21, 2006, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, Gallion, Alabama. Rev. Sid Rowser, Sr. will officiate.

Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Ala., entrusted with arrangements.

Ms. Lucy James

Maburn Palmer

Maburn Palmer, age 82, of Marion, AL died on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, in Alexander City, Ala.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 – 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.

Bobbie Martha Maske

Bobbie Martha Maske, age 62, of Scottsboro, Ala., died at home Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006.

Graveside services will be held at New Live Oak Cemetery on Thursday Dec.

28, 2006, at 3 p.m. with Father Mark Vincent officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Maske, of Scottsboro, daughter, Samantha Carruth, of Auburn, granddaughter, Mattie Carruth, of Auburn, brother, Ronald Belcher, of Mobile, sister, Bettie Cutruzzula, of Millbrook, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers and suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or one’s favorite charity.

Mr. Thomas Edward Moore

Mr. Thomas Edward Moore, 81, a resident of Camden, AL died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at his residence. Survivors include: his wife, Katherine Moore of Camden, AL; daughters, Angela Duck of Lincoln, AL; three step-daughters, Paula Niehoff and Cathy Smith of Selma, AL and Debbie Stallings of Camden, AL; two grandchildren, five step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at Camden First Presbyterian Church in Camden on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Perry officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home taking care of local arrangements.
