Clinton Maurice Plummer, age 90, died Saturday, October 7, 2006, in a nursing home in Marion.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Pisgah Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Arthur Thomas, Ricky Plummer and Harold Arnold and directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Plummer was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Smith Plummer.

He is survived by his son, Maurice (Betty) Plummer of Dothan, daughters, Gail (Joe) Ivey of Selma and Sara Nell (Bill) Van Sickler of LaPorte, TX, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Beth Causey of Montgomery.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Marc Ivey, Colby Van Sickler, Marty Harris, Clay Edwards, Ross Blythe, and Joey Blythe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Pisgah Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 9, 2006, at Lawrence Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

David McLaughlin

David McLaughlin, 86, of Marion, died Oct. 2, 2006, in Perry County Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, from Mt. Tabo A.M.E. Zion Church in Marion. The Pastor, Rev. Bryant Ivey officiated. Burial followed in the Mt. Tabo cemetery.

James Brisco

James Brisco, 69, of Marion, died Oct. 2, 2006, at his residence. Funeral will be Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, from the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Uniontown.

Susie Jones

Susie Jones, 98, of Marion, died Oct. 8 in the hospital in Tuscaloosa.

Lee & Rollins Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
